When renowned restaurateur Jay Wang dreamed up the idea behind Papaya Asian Street Food, the concept was simple: traditional Asian street dishes, quick, simple and full of flavor. In January 2021, the restaurant was born, and Des Moines’ dining landscape has never looked the same since.
